Power Shock
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Power Shock is a relaxing city-building tycoon game. Generate as much electricity as possible with a wide range of power generators. Use research labs to invest in new technologies but be careful because unclean sources can lead to disasters that cripple your power grid.
This game was made for the limited resources game jam. Every year 50 billion tons of carbon dioxide is emitted into the atmosphere and 380 million tons of plastic are thrown away. This amount of waste is unsustainable and will eventually make earth an unrecognizable planet. To solve this, we need to use reusable and compostable products. Be aware of what you are consuming because labels can be misleading. Also be aware of where your electricity comes from and try to use transportation that doesn't emit co2.

Any chance of releasing a Linux version? I tried running it in Wine on Linux but it does not work properly.
Ok, I've uploaded a Linux version, though I haven't been able to test it.
Really great idea! I love this game. Unfortunately after about 15 minutes it starts to freeze pretty badly. I hope this gets an update to fix the freezing sometime!
Thanks! I haven't run into that problem before, but I will try to fix it.
